A year long non-stop springbreak allready? That means we gonna party like we never did before!
Remember the good ol’days when the M still represented music and all the kidsters turned on the telly to study all those bellebuttonshirts and sixpack hustlers surrounding the pool of some fancy hotel and were showing their danceskills a bit to fanatic when the camera passed by.
Now all those hours in front of the mirror come in handy because it’s time to step your game up for your 15 minutes of fame at the 1 year anniversary of THE GRIND!
Don’t forget to bring your swimsuits, flipflops and sunblock because it’s gonna be hot and sweaty with:

LAZERSWORD @ SUGERFACTORY 18 FEBRUARY

De elektronische live-act Lazer Sword komt op vrijdag 18 februari voor een exclusieve live show naar Sugar Factory. Na de release van hun self-titled debuutalbum is dit hun eerste performance in Nederland. Ook is er een live performance van de kersverse Grote Prijs winnaar in de categorie Dance: Individualism. Met zijn 17 jaar is deze producer met recht een supertalent te noemen. Overige artiesten op deze avond zijn Brutuzz en BAR//DANCING.

Lazer Sword

Antaeus Roy (Lando Kal) en Bryant Rutledge (Low Limit) vormen samen Lazer Sword. Zonder officiele release wist deze act al een aantal jaar constant de aandacht te houden van de muziekwereld door remixes en mixtapes. Eind vorig jaar verscheen dan eindelijk hun debuutalbum “Lazer Sword. Het werk van Lazer Sword bestaat uit een bijzondere mix van hiphop, elektronica en dubstep. Lazer Sword is ontstaan in San Francisco. Sinds kort is vooral Lando Kal echter veel te vinden in Berlijn.

Individualism
Maarten Brijker is sinds vorige maand 1 van de jongste winnaar uit de historie van de Grote Prijs van Nederland. Deze 16 jarige wist de jury en het publiek te overtuigen met hele volwassen producties die via house, naar drum&bass naar dubstep gaan. Op 15 januari is Individualism ook te zien met een showcase op het Noorderslag festival.

Brutuzz
Brutuzz is één van de hardst groeiende dj’s van Nederland. Deze technisch begaafde dj vormde afgelopen jaar een superduo met dj Gomes. Samen verzorgen zij het dubstep genre op 22Tracks en geven zij in het hele land shows op 4 decks. Hiermee staan ook zij geprogrammeerd op de aanstaande Noorderslag. De veelzijdigheid van Brutuzz blijkt uit de samenwerking met dj/producer Full Crate waar zij puur (deep)house draaien. Ook heeft Brutuzz zijn eigen concept Sonic Boom.

BAR//DANCING

Deze samenwerking van O.Boogie & Ebokai moet in 2011 tot veel nieuw werk leiden. Afgelopen jaar waren er remixes voor Homework, Kotchy en Perquisite. Op dit moment werken ze aan hun album dat moet uitkomen op Boemklatsch Records. Deze avond sluiten deze 2 Amsterdammers af met hun verassende live show
